"Pro tip: Owner should provide bottled water, coffee, and maybe offer late breakfast (home cooked) options on weekends. Be more accessible (late resp to Whatsapp communication) Also, definitely disclose that room is attached to house with direct door access!"

"This property is perfect if you want quietness and away from the heavy flow of tourist coming off the cruises. It’s located at the east end of the island. You can drive to the west (Jaws Beach) in about 30-40 min. Grocery stores were 5 min away which had variates of items you find back home. 15-20 min from downtown area (Atlantis and Straw Market). There were some hiccups in the beginning it they were addressed quickly and resolved. Andrea was great at communicating with us and tending to our needs. Overall, our family had a great time at this property. "

"Great location set on a hill near the airport, with wonderful views out to sea. The staff are fantastic, the Indian restaurant on site does great food, and it’s a small, tranquil place to spend a few days. The rooms are a little dated and relatively small, however the a/c worked very well and my room had a huge balcony with a day bed, loungers and a table to work on. Be warned that there is no lift up to reception, so you’ll be carrying bags up quite a few steps. "

"Our family of 8 thoroughly enjoyed our stay so much on this property. The host was very accommodating quick to respond to anything we had questions about. She was also very patient to calm our fears when Google maps erroneously showed a different property than what was pictured online. (Google maps is way behind in updating things) We loved our time there. I highly recommend it to any family or group of friends. It was in a nice neighborhood and we felt very safe there. Her recommendations of local restaurants, and activities was very helpful. Tons of memories were made while there."

"This place is in a very quiet and safe neighborhood. We found it spotlessly clean and well equipped. A short ride from the airport and close to a beach. My only recommendation would be to get a rental car if you’re staying more than 1 night ."

"The property is on the South, and more rural side of the island. It’s about a 30 minute drive from downtown or the big fancy resorts. It’s very secluded and quiet which was a big plus for me and my partner. The beachside cantina and kitchen opens up in the afternoon and serves delicious food, the service is great. It’s about a 80ft walk from your room to the beach. If you want the fancy stuff this might not be for you. But if you like the idea of having a private beach apartment with a full service kitchen and cantina, this is worth checking out."

"My wife and i stayed at the Island House for our 20th anniversary. While it wasn't close to a lot of the stuff we wanted to do, we don't regret staying there at all. The staff were exellent and the resort was perfect."

"Room was very clean. Amenities were as stated. Host is very responsive and a good communicator. Location is in a more dated part of town and it's difficult to get taxis there.However you can reach out to the host for help with that. "
